The easiest CRM for digital downloads

Easiest CRM for digital Products

It’s true – most CRM’s and membership platforms are overcomplicated, packed with unnecessary features, and difficult to set up. Here’s why that happens and what an ideal easy CRM for digital products should look like.

Why Are CRM’s & Membership Platforms So Overcomplicated?

  1. Built for Large Enterprises – Most CRM’s (like Salesforce, HubSpot) are designed for big companies with complex sales pipelines. Small businesses selling digital products don’t need all those bells and whistles.
  2. Feature Bloat – Platforms try to be “one-size-fits-all,” adding too many features that most users never touch.
  3. Steep Learning Curves – Too many dashboards, settings and integrations make it overwhelming for solopreneurs or small teams.
  4. Expensive & Overpriced – Many CRM’s charge high monthly fees for features digital product creators don’t even need.
  5. Not Designed for Digital Products – Most CRM’s are built for physical products or services, not seamless digital sales, subscriptions, or memberships.

What Would an Easy CRM for Digital Products Look Like?

Simple & Clean Dashboard – No unnecessary tabs, just essential insights: which customer purchased which product.
Seamless Integrations – Works with WooCommerce, without complicated setup.
Membership & Management – Easy-to-use portal for customers to access content.
Lightweight & Affordable – No enterprise pricing, just a simple, cost-effective solution.

Why Doesn’t This Exist (Yet)?

There are some tools (like Podia, Kajabi, and ThriveCart Learn), but they still have limitations. Most existing solutions are either:

  • Too focused on marketing & landing pages (like Kajabi).
  • Too expensive for what they offer.
  • Lacking proper CRM features (just overcomplicated membership tools).

The Future of CRM for Digital Products

There’s definitely room for a simple, intuitive CRM built specifically for digital products.

And that's where Blackhat CRM comes in. The easiest CRM for digital Products!

First you upload the WooCommerce Plugin and then you upload my Simple CRM for WooCommerce Plugin

Now you create two new pages where you insert a shortcode and then… and then you do nothing… that’s it!

Okay, to make things look nice you have to make some some minor adjustments, but basically you’re set to go.

This is how your Login Page looks like (mine is made with Elementor). Of course you can set your own branded image.

This is how the dashboard of the easiest CRM for digital Products looks like. Plain and Simple.

It tell’s them the name of the digital product. A brief description with a link to a tutorial page and a clickable link to download the purchased product (a zip file or a PDF).

To assign digital products to the right user, you only have to select the user and the product (as seen below).

But here's a fair warning. Check below if this product is really suited for you!

  • No Automation

The CRM system has no automation. When you add a new user/subscriber the client get's no email. That's because this makes a system complicated. You assign a username and password to the client and you inform him/her yourself through your own mailsystem. In the product tutorial I'll show you how to implement a mailingsystem in wordpress via a free plugin.

  • No Selling

The Blackhat CRM is not suitable for selling products. Again this feature would overcomplicate the system. You do the selling through WooCommerce or anyway you are used to. After the sale you add the client to my system, where he/she will be eligable to download the product.

  • No Physical Products

The easy CRM system is not created to sell physical products. It is for digital marketers, who sell digital downloads, like a PDF or a plugin in zip format.

  • No Lost Password

A User can not reset the password. Why not? Bacause that would go via the ugly WooCommerce/Wordpress system and that's exactly what we don't want. You make it clear to the client that if he/she has forgotten his/her password, he/she can apply for a new one through your support system.

  • No Real User Database

Of course you can see your Subscribers, but you can not identify which products they have. That's why it is good practice that you create some document with usernames and passwords. You can login with those credentials and see the assigned products to the respective client.

  • Easy CRM

Once things are installed, you'll have the easiest CRM for digital products in the world. You have your products lined up and when someone purchases one of your products, you'll just have to tick two boxes to have the digital product assigned.

I hope by now you can make a dedicated decision!?

Let me show you how you can setup this easy CRM for digital products in 5 minutes!
